InSynapse Technologies Private Limited (“InSynapse”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Nexus Connect, part of the InSynapse Nexus unified communication platform, at connect.insynapse.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and Google account information used for authentication.
Business Information
We collect your business name, address, industry, WhatsApp Business Account details, and phone numbers you register on the platform.
Message Data
We process WhatsApp messages sent and received through our platform, including message content, delivery status, timestamps, and sender/recipient information. Messages are processed on behalf of your business and stored in your tenant workspace.
Contact Data
We store contact information for individuals your business communicates with via WhatsApp, including phone numbers, names, and consent status.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and performance metrics.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Nexus Connect platform services
- To send and receive WhatsApp messages on behalf of your business
- To power AI-assisted conversations using your knowledge bases
- To generate analytics, QA reports, and campaign performance data
- To process payments and manage billing
- To comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform policies
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only in these circumstances:
- Meta/WhatsApp: Messages are transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API as required to deliver the service
- AI Processing: Message content is processed by Anthropic's Claude API for AI agent conversations and QA evaluation. No message data is retained by Anthropic for training.
- Payment Processing: Billing data is shared with Razorpay for payment processing
- Infrastructure: Data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase/Firestore) and Vercel
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Message data is retained according to your tenant's configured retention policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data and request a copy
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your data (right to be forgotten)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Restrict processing of your data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests

7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
8. Consent for WhatsApp Messaging
Our platform enforces explicit opt-in consent before sending messages to any contact. Businesses using our platform are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid consent from their contacts in compliance with applicable laws and Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy.
